The Carbon Yag Laser treatment — also known as the "Hollywood Peel" or "Carbon Peel" — begins with a layer of liquid carbon applied to your face. The carbon penetrates deep into your pores, bonding with oil, dead skin cells, and contaminants.
A Q-switched Nd:YAG laser then passes over the skin, vaporizing the carbon along with everything it has bonded to. The laser energy also heats the deeper layers of the dermis, stimulating collagen production and tightening pores from the inside out.
